In partnership with the Phoenix Art Museum and Aim Higher College Prep Academy, CALA will be distributing free art kits for at-home art workshops with teaching artist Gloria Martínez-Granados.

On Saturday, July 3 at 12:00 PM Gloria Martínez-Granados will virtually present a weaving workshop as part of How I Became an Artista. In the workshop, students will learn about the cultural legacies of Huichol weaving techniques in Contemporary art.

Stop by the Aim Higher College Prep Academy on Friday, July 1, 5:00–6:00 PM, or the Phoenix Art Museum on Friday, July 2, 4:00–7:00 PM to pick up your free art kit. Are you interested in having your art kit dropped off?
