Encounter: Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all

Presented by ASU Art Museum. Supported by CALA Alliance and the Helme Prinzen Endowment.

“Encounter: Better to have loved and lost than never to have loved at all” is an installation and exhibition by interdisciplinary artist Alejandro Almanza Pereda that focuses on the still life. Pereda will display — upside down — several still life paintings from the ASU Art Museum collection alongside his own work, the first in a new series of still life videos, which were filmed inside a swimming pool in Phoenix.
